Corsicana Driver License Office

Corsicana, Texas – The Corsicana Driver License Office has reopened its doors to the public after being closed for several months due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The office, located at 4115 W State Highway 31, has implemented new safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of both staff and customers.

The office has put in place strict guidelines for all visitors, including mandatory mask-wearing, temperature checks upon entry, and social distancing measures. Only a limited number of customers are allowed inside the office at a time, and appointments are strongly encouraged to help minimize wait times and reduce the risk of overcrowding.

“We are committed to providing a safe and efficient experience for all those who need to renew or obtain their driver’s licenses,” said office manager, Sarah Johnson. “We understand that this is an essential service, and we want to make sure that our customers feel comfortable and confident when coming to our office.”

In addition to these safety measures, the Corsicana Driver License Office is also offering extended hours to accommodate the backlog of appointments that built up during the closure. The office is now open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

“We know that many of our customers have been waiting patiently for the office to reopen, and we want to make sure that we can serve everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible,” Johnson added.

The decision to reopen the Corsicana Driver License Office comes as the state of Texas continues to ease restrictions and allows certain businesses and government offices to resume operations. The office is following guidelines set forth by the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all visitors.

Customers who visit the office can expect to see staff members wearing masks and gloves, as well as regular cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces. Hand sanitizing stations are also available throughout the office for both staff and customers to use.

“I was a little apprehensive about coming in to renew my license, but the staff here have done a great job of making me feel safe and comfortable,” said Ted Johnson, a Corsicana resident. “I appreciate all of the precautions they have put in place, and I am glad that I can get this taken care of without having to worry about my health.”

For those who prefer not to visit the office in person, certain services are available online, including driver’s license renewals and address changes. The Corsicana Driver License Office encourages customers to utilize these online services whenever possible to help reduce the number of people coming into the office.

“We want to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding during this challenging time,” Johnson said. “We are doing everything we can to provide the best service possible while keeping everyone safe, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation.”

As the Corsicana Driver License Office continues to navigate the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, staff members remain dedicated to serving the community and ensuring that all customers receive the assistance they need in a timely and efficient manner. The office urges all visitors to comply with the safety guidelines in place and to call ahead to schedule an appointment whenever possible.
