In a move to streamline the process for Washington State residents, the Department of Licensing (DOL) has announced a new online system for changing addresses on driver’s licenses. The updated system will allow residents to conveniently update their information without having to visit a DOL office in person.

In addition to the new online system, the DOL is also expanding their options for updating addresses in person. Residents can now visit any DOL office or select partner locations, such as AAA Washington, to update their address without an appointment.
