AAA Offers Connecticut Driver’s License Renewal Services
Connecticut drivers can now renew their driver’s licenses through AAA, thanks to a new partnership between the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the American Automobile Association (AAA). This convenient service is available at select AAA offices across the state, making the renewal process easier and more accessible for residents.
The partnership between the DMV and AAA aims to provide more options for drivers to renew their licenses, in addition to the traditional methods of renewing through the DMV website or at a DMV office. By partnering with AAA, the DMV can ensure that more drivers have access to convenient and efficient renewal services, ultimately improving the overall experience for Connecticut drivers.
To renew a driver’s license through AAA, residents simply need to visit a participating AAA office and present their current driver’s license. AAA staff will then take a new photo and process the renewal on the spot, allowing drivers to leave with their new license in hand. This streamlined process eliminates the need for multiple visits to the DMV and provides a more convenient option for busy individuals.
“We are thrilled to offer driver’s license renewal services to our members and the general public,” said Amy Parmenter, a spokesperson for AAA Northeast. “We understand that renewing a driver’s license can be a hassle, and we are proud to partner with the DMV to make the process easier and more convenient for Connecticut drivers.”
In addition to driver’s license renewal services, AAA also offers a variety of other DMV-related services at select offices, including license and ID card renewals, vehicle registration renewals, and more. This partnership between the DMV and AAA represents a commitment to improving customer service and providing more options for residents to access essential services.
The AAA driver’s license renewal service is available to both AAA members and non-members, making it accessible to all Connecticut residents. Fees for the renewal service are the same as those charged by the DMV, ensuring that drivers do not incur any additional costs for using the AAA service.
“We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers and streamline the renewal process,” said DMV Commissioner Sibongile Magubane. “Partnering with AAA allows us to expand our reach and provide more convenient options for drivers to renew their licenses. We are excited about this new partnership and the benefits it brings to Connecticut residents.”
Drivers interested in renewing their driver’s licenses through AAA can visit the AAA website for a list of participating offices and more information about the renewal process. With this new partnership between the DMV and AAA, Connecticut drivers now have more options than ever to renew their licenses quickly and conveniently.
