AAA recently announced a new program that will make it easier for foreign drivers to obtain a driver’s license in the United States. The program, called AAA Foreign Driver’s License, aims to streamline the process for foreign nationals who have a valid driver’s license in their home country to obtain a US driver’s license.
Under the program, foreign drivers who hold a valid driver’s license from a foreign country will be able to apply for a US driver’s license through AAA. The AAA Foreign Driver’s License program is currently available in select states, with plans to expand to more states in the near future. The program is open to foreign nationals who are at least 18 years old and have a valid foreign driver’s license that is not expired or suspended.
Foreign drivers who wish to participate in the program can visit their local AAA branch to learn more about the requirements and application process. AAA staff will be available to assist applicants with any questions they may have and provide guidance on the steps needed to obtain a US driver’s license.
