California DMV Implements Changes to Address Updates on Driver’s Licenses
California residents who are in the process of changing addresses can expect a new procedure when updating their information on their driver’s licenses. In addition to the online option, individuals can still update their address in person at a DMV office if they prefer. However, the DMV encourages residents to use the online system whenever possible to help reduce wait times at physical locations.
“We want to make sure that our in-person services are available for those who truly need them, such as individuals applying for new licenses or taking a driving test,” Gordon added. “By utilizing the online system for address updates, we can help streamline operations at our offices and provide a better overall experience for our customers.”
