New Jersey residents can now renew their driver’s licenses online, thanks to a new initiative by the state’s Motor Vehicle Commission. This move comes as a relief to many drivers who have been frustrated by long lines and wait times at MVC offices.
The online renewal process is simple and convenient. Drivers can log on to the MVC website and follow the step-by-step instructions to renew their license. They will need to provide their current license number, as well as their Social Security number and date of birth.
