Tennessee Driver License Address Change Made Easier with New Online System
Updating your address on your Tennessee driver’s license just got a whole lot easier thanks to a new online system launched by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
Previously, drivers looking to update their address on their license had to visit a Driver Services Center in person and fill out paperwork, but now they can do it from the comfort of their own home. The new online system allows drivers to update their address quickly and easily, saving them time and hassle.
“We wanted to make it as convenient as possible for Tennessee drivers to update their address on their license,” said Commissioner Jeff Long. “With the new online system, they can do it in just a few minutes without having to leave their home.”
To update their address online, drivers simply need to visit the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security website and create an account. From there, they can log in and update their address with just a few clicks. The new address will then be updated on their driver’s license and in the department’s records.
The online system also allows drivers to update their address on their vehicle registration and voter registration at the same time, making it a one-stop shop for all their address change needs.
“We wanted to make it as easy as possible for drivers to update their address on all their important documents,” said Long. “With the new online system, they can do it all in one place, saving them time and hassle.”
The new online system has been met with positive feedback from Tennessee drivers, who appreciate the convenience of being able to update their address from home.
“I recently moved and needed to update my address on my license, registration, and voter registration,” said Sarah Johnson, a Tennessee driver. “I was dreading having to go to the Driver Services Center, but the new online system made it so easy. I updated everything in just a few minutes from home.”
